Mayo When it was time to leave Co. Down, we set off on a three-month long tour of the western United States, meeting friends, musicians, world-renowned luthiers and a host of other characters along the way. After a bit more back-and-forth across the Atlantic, we settled on the north shore of Clew Bay. Mulranny is a village steeped in history and has seen a lot of change over the past 200 years. The railway to Achill came and went, a greenway took it’s place and living between the mountian range of the Wild Nephin National Park and Clew Bay is an absolute treat year round, regardless of the weather.
